I am putting out there that I will be a millionaire.
Money and I? We’ve had our ups and downs, no doubt. It flows in, disappears just as fast, and mostly leaves me guessing.
Over the past decade, I’ve found myself in more than a few nerve-wracking financial tight spots, including a sudden stint of homelessness just three years back.
In those moments, I couldn’t help but think, “If only I had more cash. Or a rich uncle. Then maybe I wouldn’t be drowning in stress like this.”
I never truly believed I deserved wealth or abundance, so it never seemed to materialize. Looking back, it’s fair to say I may have even grown accustomed to my struggles, including financial ones.
Finding harmony in mind, body, and soul: the ultimate transformation for my personal growth.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Back then, I didn’t grasp the idea of the mind-body connection, so not much changed until my mindset transformed.
The transformative journey began nearly two years back, yet my scarcity mindset almost sidelined me—especially when I made the leap into entrepreneurship, bidding farewell to my teaching career.
Much of my “money fear” stemmed from my upbringing. I was preprogrammed to believe that hard work and financial suffering are noble.
Religious undertones implied that comfort and abundance are selfish, while hard work and economic struggle are commendable. We even judged those living more comfortably, “How dare they?”
For many years, my classroom was an extension of my home. My life.
Despite dedicating over seven years of college to be a “good” teacher, I always knew that my skillset and effort wouldn’t ultimately be rewarded. The educational salary system is based on steps and lanes – not impact and ability.
Leaving my teaching career working with at-risk youth (the most rewarding position I had held) was a daunting leap of faith and exceptionally ridiculous in the eyes of many.
Yet, it proved to be transformative.
I’ve come to understand that abundance isn’t solely about external circumstances but is rooted in mindset and belief systems.
This realization fueled my determination to achieve financial success, not just for personal gain but to amplify my ability to give back.
Back then, I couldn’t see it, but those hardships were actually paving the way for my wealth-building journey.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
I have embraced every single setback, seeing it as a learning opportunity. This included my more recent entrepreneurial challenges and losses. This is a whole new arena, and I am a one-woman force—and there is a learning curve.
But I am learning. And growing. And succeeding. It was the only way I could climb out of the dumpster fire life I was living.
I had to look inward and make the necessary changes.
So, I will be a millionaire—not because money is valuable, but because money is energy, and the more I have, the more I can give.
That’s all I want to do—pass all this effort and learning and work forward so that someone else might suffer one degree less than I did to find inner peace. That’s worth its weight in gold.
With the launch of Wilde House Of, now a nonprofit supporting at-risk youth, and my subsequent venture, Hezzie Mae, I’ve embraced the lifestyle of an entrepreneur.
This way of life is much different than that of a classroom teacher. Still, I am adopting the freedom and flexibility it offers, including the ability to dream big and allow abundance to flow while still living to serve others.
My vision is vast, fluid, and ginormous because that’s exciting, beautiful, and challenging. Watch me grow!
Here are the eight transformations that have empowered me to confidently pursue abundance and embrace the belief that I am worthy of millionaire status.
1. Self-Reflection and Awareness:
Acknowledge personal beliefs about money, abundance, and self-worth, laying the foundation for embracing abundance.
2. Holistic Well-being:
Understand the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health in attracting abundance and prioritizing self-care and growth in all areas.
3. Continuous Learning and Mentorship:
Commit to lifelong learning and seek guidance from mentors who inspire and guide personal growth, recognizing the influence of the voices we surround ourselves with.
4. Alignment with Purpose and Joy:
Discover the connection between purpose, talents, and joy, recognize that work becomes effortless when we are on the right path, and abundance flows naturally.
5. Shifting Perspectives:
Challenge limiting beliefs and cultivate a positive outlook towards wealth and success, embracing new perspectives that align with abundance.
6. Overcoming Scarcity Mentality:
Break free from fear-based thinking and scarcity mentality, creating space for abundance to manifest in our lives.
7. Building Resilience:
Develop resilience to navigate challenges and setbacks with a growth mindset, viewing obstacles as opportunities for learning and growth.
8. Manifesting Opportunities:
Actively manifest opportunities and possibilities, believing in our worthiness of success and prosperity, and allowing abundance to flow into every aspect of our lives.
In conclusion, I’m boldly declaring my intention to become a millionaire, but don’t expect major lifestyle changes.
My relationship with money has been rocky, marked by unexpected crises and ingrained beliefs about wealth and hardship. Through self-reflection, holistic well-being, continuous learning, and mentorship, I’ve shifted from scarcity to abundance.
I’m confident in my journey toward millionaire status, which involves aligning with purpose, shifting perspectives, and seizing opportunities.
Abundance is more than money—it’s about energy and giving back.
