About Hezzie Mae
You don’t have to do this alone.
My work is about walking beside you—steady, honest, and with deep reverence for your story. Whether you’re birthing a book, offering your message to the world, or finally honoring the truth you’ve held inside, I’m here to help you feel grounded, inspired, and fully yourself in the process.
You matter. Your voice matters. And your story matters. What’s inside of you needs to be shared so that you can be healed and the world can heal alongside you.
About Heather N. Wilde
I’ve spent years teaching English to middle and high schoolers — and even more years teaching the humans who never fit neatly inside the lines: the ones navigating addiction, mental health struggles, and life’s heaviest chapters.
I’ve always been the person who can sit with someone in their truth without flinching. Compassion is my first language. Judgment never had a seat at my table.
Creating safe space isn’t something I learned — it’s who I’ve always been.
When I wrote my memoir, it wasn’t a bucket-list project — it was a soul-level summons. Not a gentle nudge, but a pull so ancient and insistent it felt like it came from before this lifetime.
Putting my story on the page was raw and terrifying. It cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect. But what happened next changed everything: the book began carrying what my body had been holding. The trauma, the weight, the silence — all of it finally had somewhere else to live.
Publishing it wasn’t just vulnerable; it was holy. A reclamation. A return to myself. I still tear up when I think about what that experience gave me.
And I would recommend it — not because it’s easy, but because it’s the kind of liberation that shifts your entire timeline.

Of course, navigating the technical side of self-publishing felt like trying to build a lighthouse in the dark. It’s a huge skillset, and most people can’t — and shouldn’t have to — carry it alone.
What I learned is this: we’re not meant to white-knuckle our way through telling our truths. We’re meant to be held, witnessed, and supported as we bring our stories — and ourselves — back into the light.
That’s why Hezzie Mae exists: to help humans share their stories, reclaim their dignity, and experience the beauty and connection they’ve always deserved.
